
Adan Perez
Adan Perez is an NCN Project Assistant and supports the efforts of NCN’s Healing Generations Institute. He is a 1st generation graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Native American/Indigenous Studies from the University of California, Riverside. He is also a graduate of National Compadres Network’s Joven Noble CĂrculo. Adan is a danzante and drummer, and helped establish a community danza circle in San Jose, CA. called Xochitl Ihuan Cuicatl (Flor Y Canto, Flower and Song). He is the son of two hard-working Mexican immigrant parents: Bernardo Trejo Perez of Apipilulco, Guerrero Mexico, and Manuela “Mely” Barraza Perez of Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango Mexico.
